St. Albans (London Area) U.K.

Hi David,

I Just wanted to write you a note to say thank you for visiting our church in St Albans at the weekend. I enjoyed your teaching very much and the way you helped me to listen to the Holy Spirit by allowing Him into my life. You really stirred up my passion for Jesus.

I have been finding it hard to break through and get close to Jesus but on Friday evening you called me out and gave me a word to say I should not put myself down and to have confidence in myself and not to shy away from things. You said perhaps it was a cultural thing and perhaps it was the circumstances I was in now - you got both of those things right - the cultural was my strict upbringing (Italian mother and Greek father) and then I went straight from home to marry a man who is very strong and outgoing and has always spoken for me and I have been kept down. He is not saved. So all my life I have been timid and shy.

Things will change now that I've had a word from God - I want to thank you so much for that. I really needed to hear it and God used you to get through to me. I was so happy and am now really trying to move forward and be strong.

Sunday night was also amazing. The worship was awesome and I could have listened to you talking all night. I felt sad though when I went home because, as usual, I was too shy to stand up and come forward when you were asking if anyone was connected with a person called Susan. Nobody really came forward and I knew it was for me but I didn't make a move. Susan is my sister and she is suffering from osteo arthritis on her shoulder through wear and tear and is also losing her hearing and the doctors cannot do anything for either of these conditions. She is on painkillers every day for the shoulder. I had to write and tell you this because it has been on my mind since Sunday night and I owe it to my sister to tell you that you were right again to call that name out. Please would you pray for her? And I'm sorry I didn't come forward.

I know my son has also been in touch with you through Facebook - Michael, who played the drums on Sunday night - he loved you too :-) and really loves to worship the Lord through his music. We look forward to your next visit to St Albans and will be thinking of you and Alice and the new baby!! Michael showed me some photos on your Facebook and you really have a beautiful family. I pray that God will continue to bless you all and also in your work. Thank you David for everything you do.

Blessings,
Linda
